The Inn is historic and fitting the mold of elegant and quaint. When we checked into the Bridge Street Inn, we were greeted by the InnKeeper Michael. He was detailed, mannered, and extraordinarily hospitable. Great first impression... I mention this as my "wife" and I chose this place as a one night getaway, before we travel on our honeymoon. I am so happy we did so. Breakfast was glorious. Variety of things to choose from, as well as a grand Foyer where you can grab coffee, drinks and snacks throughout the day. The house is amazing. Historic and quite the architectural wonder. If you are looking for a memorable moment, this place will certainly provide the setting.

Yelp! says to ask about their $99 rooms. Ignore that. It's from two years ago and is no longer valid. You'll spend $140 up for a room and it is worth every penny. Charming, inviting, friendly, centrally located to the New Hope attractions.... It's all good. Includes Continental breakfast, tight parking, quiet. The canal is next to the Inn and offers a great place to walk or jog. Five stars.

4.5 stars. We really enjoyed our short stay here - only one night so this rating gives them a little extra error toward the positive side. Nicely decorated, easy check-in, nice people running the place. Internet wifi worked great. Parking, while a little tight, was a welcome add. Breakfast (continental) was very good. Only minor issues that would have bumped them up to a 'full 5 stars' are: Bed - The bed in our room was a bit uncomfortable. perhaps too old a mattress. Location - while very close to the town of New Hope it is not the most scenic. If it were right on the river it would have been a plus. Price - Not outrageous but a little on the high side. We would definitely return if in the area again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights, in the Tiernan Room. Pictures and description on the website are deceiving. While it says the room is located on the lower level of the original house, what it really means is basement. There was absolutely no natural light coming into the room, at any point. In addition, we booked this room because the website described it as having a, "queen-size bed next to one of the original fireplaces." However, it was a gas fireplace (not log burning), the fireplace was not working, and we were not compensated in any way. Neither bed was very comfortable. The queen bed sagged in the middle and the full bed was hard. It was super knickknacky, which wasn't for us, but not an overall bad thing. Since it is a historical building, the floors were very creaky, probably not a problem if you're on the top floor. Breakfast was decent. Keurig coffee available, bagels, yogurts, fruit, quiche, croissants, and breads. Positives: Full bar with wine and a good selection of alcohol. Right off Main Street and a two minute walk to great shops and dining. Keypad entry for after hours so the building is secure and you don't need a key.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this spectacular "shabby chic" b&b the night and it was perfect! We stayed in the Madison room. The room had floor to ceiling windows and a balcony!!! It couldn't have been more perfect! Mike, the manager, was beyond personable and extremely helpful in recommending local cuisine ( Karlas) and the food was phenomenal. He also makes a killer apple cinnamon crumb cake! DEEElicious! 10/10 will absolutely return absolutely, highly recommended. Thank you for an excellent night in the town that steals my heart more and more each day.

Delicious breakfast and lunch, super quaint and clean rooms with a friendly staff. Loved the Stephan room - big balcony and a comphy bed (I slept fantastic)! It was close to all of the sites in new hope and lambertville. Will definitely be back!

Stephan rhymes with geffen. We called for a late reservation, and Michael was very friendly and even had a special going. So don't be scared away by the prices, which are actually moderate for this area typically accommodating people used to big city prices. This inn dates back to 1816 and sits right beside the canal, on the low side of the street. It was a home until the 1980s and then was a law office and a shop. Two years ago, they doubled their size and added more rooms and a bright common area with a great view of the street and canal. AND they put on a roof deck, where guests can go to watch the Friday night fireworks every Friday from Memorial Day to Labor Day, so cool. There is a large living room/library with a fireplace where you can relax and a fridge to stash your leftovers or drinks. Plenty of wine glasses and bottled water too. In fact, Michael saw me looking at the glasses and read my mind and ran to get me some red wine ones, so nice of him. Our family was staying close by and were able to come over and hang out with us in this beautiful location. Stephan House used to be an antique gallery, so it is filled with antiques, many unusual things I would never think to use/combine but which work beautifully. The holiday decorations were wonderful too. There are eight rooms of varying sizes and different features, including a four-poster bed, a jacuzzi, and a suite on the 3rd floor. Cathy showed us the other rooms. I am just nosy and love to see what is behind the door. We stayed in the Schiender Room, a smaller room which was completely comfortable and spotlessly clean. I had plenty of vegan for breakfast with coffee, juice, fruit, and oatmeal. Since I knew there were not many others staying here when we were, I mentioned that I was vegan -- only so food did not have to be put out for us and wasted, something to consider. There is free parking right outside too. Just don't drive into the canal. We will be back!

How we loved this place. So affordable (especially on weeknights) and they staff is just adorable. They are so generous and lay out an amazing breakfast spread each morning. Fully renovated but still has Victorian charm.

Wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights last weekend. Absolutely lovely inn in the heart of New Hope. You are able to leave your car and walk to EVERYTHING! If you are looking for convenience, this is your place! Stayed in the Stephan room which has balcony overlooking the street...fun to people watch! King bed was very comfortable and bathroom in suite was perfect. Michael the inn keeper was very friendly and had lemonade and brownies in the "lobby" area, as well as a fridge with cold bottled water. We didn't partake in the breakfast but it looked very good. No complaints at all and would definitely stay here again.

We stumbled on this boutique hotel in the center of town. What a great stay! Got the largest room because we checked in first. Whole hotel is Victorian renovated & decorated with hundreds of antiques. Gorgeous, quaint. And we can't say enough about the wonderful continental breakfast. At least a dozen home-baked pastries/cakes, along with quiche, cereals, juice, etc. The service & hospitality were fantastic. A must stay at a reasonable price. Forgo the plastic motels
